Andrés Aguinaco Gómez Mont has over 15 years of experience advising and representing clients in constitutional, administrative and public law matters in Mexico. His practice focuses on amparo proceedings and complex regulatory disputes across highly regulated sectors, including mining, real estate, aviation, banking and financial services, public procurement, environmental law, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, competition, education, gaming and consumer products.

Before joining Aguinaco Abogados, Andrés practiced at leading Mexican and international law firms. From 2009 to 2014, he worked at Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, and from 2014 to 2015 he was part of the administrative litigation practice at White & Case LLP.

Andrés became a partner at Aguinaco Abogados in 2017. Throughout his career, he has represented companies and civil society organizations before federal courts and the Mexican Supreme Court and has led significant constitutional and human rights cases involving mining and environmental regulation, aviation, drug policy, disability rights, inclusive education, legal capacity and independent living.

He also maintains an active pro bono practice. Andrés was a founding partner and president of CEIS – Centro Estratégico de Impacto Social, A.C., a non-profit organization dedicated to strategic and structural human rights litigation.
