Andrea is an experienced practitioner specialising in children matters. Her practice is split between public and private law matters.

In public law she is regularly instructed in complex care proceedings, adoption cases and matters involving the deprivation of children’s liberty. She acts for parents, children, extended family members and local authorities and frequently works with clients with additional needs.

Andrea has considerable expertise in dealing with high stakes private law issues such as international relocation, child abduction and cases involving serious allegations of harm. She has worked with high profile clients and extremely vulnerable members of society, and often acts for guardians appointed to represent the children.

Andrea deals with cases involving applications for protective orders in respect of forced marriage and FGM, as well as non-molestation and occupation orders.

Andrea is also an experienced mediator in private children disputes
