She began her practice specialising in trade mark prosecution and litigation, and has since developed a reputation as a leading IP practitioner.

She is also acknowledged for her patent expertise, having guided numerous clients through complex drafting, filing, and enforcement matters under both the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the Paris Convention.

- Ana acted as lead prosecutor in a landmark opposition case, securing victory for Inner Mongolia Yili against The Coca‑Cola Company.

- She made headlines by successfully representing Tigercat International in proceedings against Volkswagen AG, obtaining trade mark registration for TCI despite the existence of a senior TSI registration.

- Ana also advised Virgin Enterprise Ltd. in relation to potential cancellation proceedings against SpaceX, challenging the mark HYPERLOOP on the basis of non‑distinctiveness.

- In addition, she developed and executed the legal strategy as lead prosecutor in the high‑profile Meta Ready vs. Meta trade mark controversy, arguing that META had become a diluted term and had lost distinctiveness within Class 9.
