Alonso specializes in multidisciplinary corporate compliance with the aim of identifying legal risks in business operations. He also has experience in tax and constitutional defense, focusing on the prevention and legal defense of tax proceedings brought by the Mexican authorities. Finally, Alonso has experience in corporate advisory services for the regularization of corporate actions and the acquisition of companies.

Alonso holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente and a master's degree in constitutional and administrative law from the University of Guadalajara.

He has worked in various law firms in Guadalajara specializing in corporate matters and litigation.

He also has professional experience in the Jalisco State Judiciary.

He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE), as well as the global network Geneva Group International (GGI) and the International Trade Association (INTA).
