Allan Marks is a partner in the Project Finance Group and Latin America Practice Group. Mr. Marks represents developers, investors and lenders in the development, acquisition and financing of complex infrastructure projects, with special expertise in the energy, transportation and water sectors. He structures innovative commercial transactions and leads project financings, acquisitions, restructurings, securities offerings and private placements for a variety of sophisticated institutional clients throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Allan is an adjunct professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and Haas School of Business, where he has been recognized as a member of the Haas Business School’s “Club 6” list of exceptional faculty. He was previously an adjunct lecturer for the post-graduate program in Derecho de Empresa at the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. Allan was the founding co-chair of the State Bar of California Real Estate Section’s Subsection on Public-Private Infrastructure.
