Alberto de la Parra focuses on project structuring and finance, and corporate transactions and restructuring in the infrastructure industry, representing clients in various energy projects and representing oil companies in the new Mexican oil and gas industry. In the transportation sector, Alberto has represented the Mexican government in the financing for the construction of the new Mexico City Airport. He also has experience in privatization projects, and was recently involved with the successful representation of financial institutions through project finance issues in complex transactions related to the securitization of assets and financing of rail company transactions and toll roads. Some of his achievements include the successful financing for Grupo Mexico Transportes for the Florida East Railroad, and representing Banco Santander through the complex financing and follow ups of a Cogeneration plant of 220 MW. Alberto’s experience in the Mexican Airport network privatization, and subsequent representation of the resulting airport groups have put him among the most experienced lawyers in Mexico in the airport and aeronautic industry.
