Attorney with extensive experience advising domestic and international clients on complex transactional and regulatory matters, particularly in the areas of competition and antitrust law, banking and financial services, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. He holds a law degree from the University of Costa Rica, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard University, and a specialization in competition law from Carlos III University of Madrid. His public sector experience includes serving as Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Trade (COMEX), member of the Board of the General Superintendence of Financial Institutions (SUGEF), and member of the Competition Commission (COPROCOM). He is also an Adjunct Professor of Competition Law at Lead University.
