Aimo Halonen

Aimo Halonen has more than 15 years’ experience in the Energy and Natural Resources Sector. Aimo has special expertise in assisting on renewable energy projects and he advises some of the largest national energy companies and utilities in wind power (onshore/offshore), bio- and eco-power plants, waste-to-energy, geothermal energy, energy storage and PPA's.

Aimo has extensive experience in various project deliveries and related contract processes with international technology and equipment suppliers. In addition to procurement processes and contract negotiations, he assists clients with issues related to project law, complaint and claims management, and transactions.

At Lieke, Aimo co-heads a dynamic Energy and Infrastructure team focusing in offering clients the best expertise in the field. The team knows the regulation, procedures, and practices of the industry and has experience in the largest projects in Finland.
