Abdoul Mtoka is often involved in cross-border transactions including M&A deals, construction, arbitration, restructuring & insolvency, PPP, banking, infrastructures, mining and oil, telecoms and international investment & business law. He recently advised energy, telecoms, banking and mining companies in developing their activities in Burundi, as well as international banking and oil companies in cross-border transactions (Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, DR Congo, Belgium, France, etc.).
Before founding Trust Juris Chambers, Abdoul was an Associate in a business law firm in Burundi. He served as an international business lawyer in Belgium as well as in a well-established multinational Bank in France. He taught law in three Universities (business, commercial, contract, tort, insolvency and property laws) in Burundi since 2011 till 2015.
