Aaron's clients include individuals from all walks of life, including athletes, managers, C-suite executives, physicians, accountants, engineers, inventors, and entrepreneurs. Although there is no single characteristic that describes his client base, he often acts for the primary earner in matters involving financial support claims or allegations implicating the individual's estate.

A native of Creek County, Oklahoma, Aaron practices in Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. He represents individuals who have been injured or who are involved in contested family law matters. His family law practice focuses on financial cases involving valuation disputes and support claims. Aaron's cross-border practice includes Hague Convention child abduction cases and representing extended family from other states seeking guardianship of a minor child in one of his covered jurisdictions. Aaron offers clients a comprehensive analysis of the legal and practical issues at stake and the paradoxes, tradeoffs, and risks associated with the potential courses of action. He is known for his courtroom preparation, efficiency, and creativity.

Aaron's board certification for family law trials reflects his substantial trial work over the past two decades. His trial experience is complemented by his extraordinary commitment to ongoing legal education. In 2021, he completed a year-long Certified Financial Planner certificate program at Southern Methodist University to supplement his education and training in business valuations, taxation, and other financial topics.

Frequently engaged as successor counsel in contested matters, he has stepped in and brought matters to speedy resolution in weeks that were stalled and had been pending for years before his involvement. His broad network of relationships gives clients access to qualified, competent professionals necessary to resolve their disputes, including accounting and valuation experts, mental health experts, and mediators.

A trusted resource on the law, other attorneys often consult with Aaron about complex or novel legal issues, questions about discovery, and strategy for negotiation and trial. An avid reader, he is a frequent writer and speaker on family law and trial advocacy topics. His practice spans the full breadth of family law, from the assets a family has built, earned, or stands to inherit, to extraordinary claims for financial support. In disputes over children he is engaged for the gravest, including child abduction across state or national borders and custody contests built on manufactured allegations. To serve clients in cases of this complexity, he pursued extensive training in business valuation, financial analysis, and psychology, the better to anticipate the issues a case will raise and to counsel his clients with an unmatched command of them.

His reach extends thorughout Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri, and beyond. He is called on by clients, by their families, by their advisors, and by other lawyers whenever a matter sits in one of those states or is governed by its laws. He acts where a client lives in one place while the case or the property lies in another, and he is retained as counsel and co-counsel on matters that arise elsewhere in the country, in Canada, and around the world. He also takes on cases that have stalled and brings them to resolution, including matters that have been pending for years.

Aaron has served as lead counsel in hundreds of cases over the course of his career, tried many of them to verdict, and argued the appeals that followed. His work has run from the contested division of substantial estates, to extraordinary support claims pressed far beyond ordinary measure, to custody disputes carrying the most serious allegations a parent can face. He has handled these matters at every stage, from the first assessment of a case through trial and appeal, and he has done so across a volume and variety of work that few lawyers accumulate in a career.
