TALMA Dispute Resolution is a Paris-based boutique firm dedicated to the resolution of complex business disputes.
Our firm was set up by three leading litigation and arbitration lawyers who came together as friends and decided to combine their complementary expertise to offer high value-added services to their clients. On the back of their extensive experience gained in leading French and international law firms, our partners have built up a team of ten lawyers.
We step in as soon as a crisis situation arises to prevent, mitigate risks and resolve disputes.
Our firm offers multidisciplinary support, designed to provide a strategic and coordinated response to the challenges posed by an increasingly complex set of French and international legal standards, the overlapping and interplay of a multiplicity of laws and regulations, the globalization of trade, the criminalization and the growing role of ethics in business activities and their impact on hard and soft law.
We act for all types of businesses, listed and non-listed, foreign and French, private and public entities, sovereign States and governments, as well as for company directors and employees, investors and political figures.
Our practice extends to major industry sectors, with particular expertise in energy and natural resources; construction; aeronautics and defence; transport and logistics; telecommunications; luxury and hospitality; pharmaceuticals and health, banking, insurance and finance.
Our lawyers are experts in handling sensitive, complex, high-stakes and multi-jurisdictional matters with an international reach.

Finally, our partners regularly serve as arbitrators in international commercial arbitrations.
Commercial and Corporate governance disputes
Our commercial and corporate governance disputes’ practice is co-headed by Martin Pradel and Marina Matousekova.
Our lawyers act before civil and commercial courts in all types of business-related disputes, with a particular focus on commercial and corporate governance matters.
We advise and represent businesses of all sizes, operating in France and across the world, in disputes relating to the performance or termination of contracts (sale of goods and services, agency, partnership, cooperation, joint venture, licensing of patents, know-how or trademarks, etc.).
We have significant experience in resolving disputes involving long term agreements affected by the occurrence of unforeseen events.
Our team has also developed an expert line of work advising companies in disputes with foreign entities under economic sanctions.

- disputes between partners, relating in particular to the application of a shareholders’ agreement, the sharing of profit and loss, the withdrawal or exclusion of a partner, or the transfer of shares; and
- disputes between law firm partners, including issues specific to the legal profession (ethics, unfair competition, etc.).
White-collar crime & Internal investigations
Martin Pradel heads our white-collar crime & internal investigations’ practice.
Our lawyers advise corporate companies, company directors and employees in connection with the criminal risks and liabilities that they face in the course of their business and professional activities.
They boast a cutting-edge expertise in criminal proceedings related to the misappropriation of corporate assets, fraud, extortion and money laundering, corruption, bribery and other ethical violations (influence peddling, illegal interest-taking, favoritism).
Our team has niche capabilities in proceedings relating to employer-specific ESG duties and liabilities and offers expert services in matters of harassment and psychosocial risks, involuntary manslaughter, unintentional injuries and life endangerment, risk prevention vis-à-vis employees and consumers, and damage to the environment.

We assist companies in submitting reports when these are requested by the courts.
