Public Procurement Law and Infrastructure:
The firm advises and assists in public tenders before governmental entities, and during the execution of concession, supervision, consulting public work, and all sorts of public contracts.  It provides representation during sanctionative procedures (breach declarations, fines, etc.) and contract liquidation, as well as filing lawsuits and conduct procedures. Likewise, the firm  advises on the Anti-Corruption Act compliance, in designing and structuring Public-Private Partnerships and all sorts of proposals as private bidders in public tenders, as well as the procedures and paperwork involved. Pombo Caballero Abogados is probably the law firm with more supervision contracts (interventorías) in the country, with more than 20 infrastructure projects, and 40 port concessions supervised.

Qualified Provisions Monitoring:
The firm monitors and provides both legal and political analysis on certain provisions or bills, either national or international, governmental doctrines or technical regulations. It analyses the economic and legal impact of such bills not yet in force, for guild and entrepreneurs.

Among the firm’s most notorious recent works is the advisory on legal defense strategy for the Colombian State in several of the most complex and with the most significant claims judicial processes against them, such as Reficar arbitration court, Hisgaura bridge arbitration court, damages lawsuit between Chapecoense de Futebol team and Aeronáutica Civil, and damages lawsuit between SAM S.A. and Aeronáutica Civil.

Regarding legal consulting, the firm has supervised (through contratos de interventoría) in first, second, third and fourth generation Public-Private Partnerships, and public work contracts, in the following projects, among others: Chirajara-Fundadores, Córdoba-Sucre, Girardot-Ibagué-Cajamarca, Corredor Vial Perimetral de Oriente, Malla Vial del Meta, Autopista al Río Magdalena 2, Honda-Puerto Salgar-Girardot, and Cúcuta-Pamplona.
