China is at the heart of the firm's global strategy. Pinsent Masons has been operating in China for over 40 years, starting with the opening of our Hong Kong office in 1983. In order to better meet the needs of our clients, we further expanded our presence and opened offices in Shanghai and Beijing in 2002 and 2006 respectively. With more than 70 lawyers in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, we provide clients with local expertise and a thorough understanding of the local marketplace complemented by our global network.
