Main Areas of Practice:

Banking & Finance:
Mazanti-Andersen Korsø Jensen has many years of experience in providing advice in respect of banking and finance law and the firm has built special expertise within this area, including refinancing of existing loans, syndicated loans, mezzanine loans, bridge financing, mergers and the restructuring of banks and financial institutions, advice covering unit trusts, investment management companies, stockbrokers and similar financial institutions.

Bankruptcy & Restructuring:
The firm provides legal advice to creditors/clients within all aspects of insolvency law and provides advice on restructuring, as well as comprehensive assistance for owners and managements.
Two partners in the firm are appointed as permanent trustees/appointed administrators in bankruptcies with the bankruptcy division of the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen.

Capital Markets:
The firm provides advice regarding all capital market transactions, including IPOs rights issues, private placements, rule 144(A) offerings, take-overs and delistings, and the firm advises clients on numerous aspects of securities market regulations such as advice on disclosure requirements and corporate governance.

By virtue of many years of experience in construction law the firm provides advice concerning the negotiation and preparation of contracts, and the firm provides advice of all aspects of infrastructure and building projects, including tenders and EU public procurement, drafting of construction contracts, partnership and consortium agreements, the organisation of building projects, contract termination and handover.

The firm provides advice on all aspects of corporate law and has extensive experience from cross border transactions and international mergers and acquisitions including venture capital issues, divestment of companies, splits and restructuring, securities and stock exchange law including advice on takeover bids and listing of companies.

Employment & Labour:
The firm has considerable experience in providing advice on all aspects of employment and labour law and assists in the negotiations and drafting of employment contracts, legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions on employment, warrant programs, share option plans and negotiations relating to collective agreements.

The firm advises on all aspects of environmental law and is well known for its environmental department, which is one of the leading practices in Denmark. The firm provides advice to companies, public authorities and private individuals within environmental issues including EU environmental law and environmental due diligence.

EU & Antitrust/Competition:
The firm advises on all aspects of competition law issues and undertakes litigation involving EU law and competition law matters, including legal assistance in connection with dawn raids. Within aspects of EU public procurement and questions of state subsidies, the firm provides advice to Danish and foreign companies, a number of Danish municipalities and the firm has considerable expertise in respect of contracting, IT, financial services, concessions and purchasing.

Mazanti has an experienced team of lawyers specialising in gaming law and gaming-related matters. This includes compliance with Danish regulation and license conditions, player terms ('Terms and Conditions'), bonus systems, marketing campaigns, sponsorship agreements, payment services, AML and Responsible Gaming Rules, gaming fees, platform agreements and white-label agreements, and general issues related to gaming law. They also advise on implementation of political agreements, new legislation and directives. 

Life Science & Biotech:
The firm has considerable experience and provides advice regarding all aspects important to life science and biotech businesses, including preclinical and clinical drug development as well as licensing activities. The firm regularly drafts and participates in negotiating a wide range of industry-related agreements, MTAs, CTAs and manufacturing agreements.

Intellectual Property:
The firm provides advice on all aspects of intellectual property rights within patent law, utility model protection, trademark law, copyrights, design law and undertakes litigation concerning all IP law questions.

Litigation & Arbitration:
The firm has for generations been a leading firm in Denmark in all areas of litigation and arbitration. The firm is known for undertaking comprehensive and complex litigation. In addition to the firms substantial litigation practice at the courts and at arbitration tribunals the firm is on a regular basis engaged in litigation at a number of tribunals and court-like bodies, such as the Tender Complaints Board for Public Procurement, the Competition Council and the Competition Appeals Tribunal, the Nature Protection Board of Appeal, the National Tax Tribunal, the Commerce and Companies Appeal Board and the Danish Accountancy Board. The firm’s partners are often appointed as arbitrators in Danish and foreign arbitration cases conducted in Danish, English and the Scandinavian languages.

Media & Entertainment:
Mazanti has extensive experience in advising within all areas of media and entertainment law. The firm have advised on many fundamental first-mover cases regarding content utilisation on the many new onlinebased platforms to which rapid technological development has provided access. The firm have extensive experience in negotiating with collecting societies, distributors and relevant authorities. They advise on the preparation and negotiation of complex production and distribution agreements as well as litigation, including cases for the Copyright License Tribunal.

Real Estate:
The firm has substantial real estate expertise and provides advice on all matters related to real estate, including acquisition of real estate companies, major developments within real estate and lease agreements relating to real estate.
