Julian Lopez is a law professor at the Universidad de Chile; José Ignacio Escobar lectures International Criminal Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica’s Law School; and Ignacio Ananías lectures Penal Law at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

López, Escobar, Del Río has vast experience working as defence attorneys and complainants in criminal cases on economic and tax crimes, infringements to the Chilean Law on Securities Market, criminal responsibility of legal entities, technological and environmental crimes, crimes against privacy, integrity, sexual crimes and responsibility for negligent acts, among others. The firm has also taken part in cases of execution of simulated transactions, disclosure of false information to the market, and price manipulation. The firm is renowned for its white-collar, bribery, and tax fraud practice.

Arbitration & Litigation:

The firm’s Arbitration and Litigation practice represents a wide variety of clients in all kinds of civil, commercial, constitutional litigation.

The firm partners have experience as arbitrators. In particular, Jorge Del Río and Julián López are very demanded arbitrators of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Chilean Chamber of Commerce.
