We have been involved in several landmark financing deals as the Chadian counsel of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in connection with a $10 million loan to support the introduction of off-grid solar kits and appliances in Chad. We have also acted as the Chadian counsel of a pool of twenty-one (21) international lenders in relation to a limited recourse loan agreement entered into between the lenders and Glencore and in connection with an English law prepayment agreement entered into between Glencore, Société des Hydrocarbures du Tchad (SHT) and the Republic of Chad.
