Gallant was established in 1977 and is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong, with two representative offices in Guangzhou and Shanghai. Our firm is one of the largest and most well-established independent full service notable firms in Hong Kong, with about 130 personnel, including over 45 solicitors and 8 trainee solicitors. Our firm is retained by a large number of listed companies, banks, insurance companies and trustee companies as their annual retainer law firm. Our firm is a seasoned and trusted legal advisor with decades of experience in various kinds of mega cross-border commercial and financing, real estate and M&A transactions. We have PRC qualified and GBA qualified practising lawyers working in our firm providing seamless China-related legal services.

Our firm is among the first batch of 12 law firms worldwide granted permission in 1992 by the Ministry of Justice of the PRC to set up a representative office in Mainland China.

Since December 2005, our firm has been the sole member firm of Meritas in Hong Kong.
