THE FIRM Collins Solicitors was established in 1995 and is primarily a niche civil litigation practice based in Watford, Hertfordshire.

PRINCIPAL AREAS OF WORK 
Civil Litigation:
The firm is presently representing over 1,200 people in the Infected Blood Inquiry and is the Lead Solicitor in the Contaminated Blood Group Action which is presently before the High Court. The firm’s strengths originated in personal injury matters deriving from all major rail disasters — including the Watford, Southall and Paddington disasters — the practice has become very well known and highly respected in the market. It took Etridge v RBS, DVT Group Litigation and Kerry Gray v Thames Trains to the House of Lords on points of public importance. The firm is also well known for its environmental practice involving personal injury and clean-up costs in connection with exposure to contaminated land, including the Corby Group Litigation, Buncefield and Motherwell.

Other Areas: In addition to the above, Collins Solicitors has a leading practice in connection with family law, Children’s Act proceedings, Wills, probate and conveyancing.
