Since the establishment of our office in 2001, we have been a leader in the area of liability and insurance law. We are good at what we do; resolving disputes. We have an eye for detail, but never lose sight of the overall picture.

We represent or act on behalf of (international) insurance companies. We also act on behalf of insureds and clients that do not have insurance coverage.

We litigate if necessary, but avoid litigation if possible. We not only litigate before the Dutch civil courts, but also in arbitration cases and disciplinary tribunals.

The field of liability and insurance law is wide and varied. It encompasses questions on coverage on all kinds of insurances, such as PI-policies for professionals such asconstructors, engineers, architects, banks and even insurers themselves. We also handle questions on D&O insurance and construction policies.

Apart from insurance related matters, we advise and litigate on liability issues regarding liability, such as professional liability,product liability, directors’ liability, employer liability, personal injury and disciplinary law.

Our work includes providing advice, drafting general terms and conditions/insurance terms and conditions, negotiations and – (only) if necessary – going to court.
