The firm has extensive experience handling court reorganisations, pre-packaged reorganisations, and bankruptcy liquidations, both in court and out-of-court.

With a strong background in insolvency litigation, the firm also advises clients on the sale and acquisition of troubled assets, distressed M&A transactions, and credit structuring within insolvency and restructuring proceedings.

Paulo Fernando Campana Filho

Paulo has 22 years of experience, with extensive expertise in both court and out-of-court matters. For over a decade, he has advised debtors, creditors, and investors in debt restructuring, as well as in the investment and acquisition of distressed companies or assets, handling high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions.

Before founding Campana Pacca Advogados, Paulo was a partner at Veirano Advogados, Cascione Advogados, and Felsberg Advogados. He holds an LLB (2003) and a PhD (2013) from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), as well as an LLM (2007) from the Faculdade de Direito of the Universidade de Coimbra (UC).

A founding member of TMA Brasil, Paulo actively participates in several of its committees and is also a member of INSOL International and IBR. He has taken part in next-generation leadership programmes of the International Insolvency Institute (III) and the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (NCBJ). Additionally, he is a speaker, book coordinator, and author of articles on insolvency and restructuring, particularly focusing on international aspects. João Ricardo Pacca

João Pacca has 15 years of experience advising creditors, debtors, and investors on debt restructuring, restructuring, and investment in financially distressed companies. Before founding Campana Pacca Advogados, he worked as a lawyer at Thomaz Bastos, Waisberg, Kurzweil Advogados, Dias Carneiro Advogados, and Felsberg Advogados.

He holds an LLB from Universidade de São Paulo (2010) and an LLM from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law (2019). Additionally, he holds a specialisation in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2013). João is also a member of TMA Brasil and INSOL International.
