Firm Overview

Blanchards Law was founded in 2011 by Punam Denley with the aim of delivering exceptional Family Law services to clients across the Thames Valley and London. Punam worked at the Family Law Consortium , now Family Law in Partnership and previously held a partnership at The International Family Law Group. She has consistently attracted high-calibre, complex work to the firm, which now specialises in both International and Domestic Family Law, as well as increasingly Mediation.

The firm is particularly well-regarded for its expertise in Part III MFPA 1984, appeals, setting aside financial orders, and cases involving overseas assets and international divorces.

Mediation has become a core strength of Blanchards Law, further enhanced by the arrival of Christine Plews. Formerly Head of the Family Practice Group at Blake Morgan LLP, Christine is a top-ranked, UK-wide Accredited Mediator and recognised Senior Statesperson (Thames Valley). She offers Hybrid Mediation, Child-Inclusive Mediation and brings a psychodynamic perspective through her PG(Oxon) Cert in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Christine was also a founding partner of the award-winning The Mediation Space LLP.

Christine joins a strong Family Law boutique firm that includes Punam Denley, Sue Andrews and Helen Habershon, who is particularly renowned for her work in Children’s Law.

Blanchards Law is also known for its innovative client delivery. All key team members have contributed to academic journals and spoken at leading conferences in the field.

The firm’s Marlow office is led by Susan Andrews, who joined in 2024 from BP Collins. At her previous firm, she was Head of the Family Team and consistently ranked as a leading practitioner over many years.
