Banking & Finance:
Projects regularly undertaken by members of BGBG in the firm’s banking and finance practice include the rendition of services to Mexican and foreign financial entities and institutions, such as financial groups, banks, brokerage houses, securities brokers, insurance companies, investment bankers, mutual funds, non-bank financial entities and representative offices.

BGBG has an area specialised in compliance and anti-corruption issues, including anti-money laundering with a strong focus on banking and finance regulatory compliance.

Energy & Infrastructure:
BGBG has an area of practice highly specialised in energy and infrastructure issues, with experience in natural gas, electricity and hydrocarbons sectors, rendering service to multinational clients within said sectors, both as internal and external advisors. BGBG is very active in advising E&P clients for exploration and production projects in Mexico.

BGBG offers specialist regulatory expertise to a number of Fintech entities in Mexico, representing them in their license applications to operate under the Fintech law, including corporate, compliance and privacy law.

Government Procurement:
BGBG’s members have a broad experience in all kinds of public tenders (communications, health, oil industry, etc.). Legal advice includes: (i) revision of the procurement rules; (ii) participation at clarification meetings; (iii) participating in the preparation and revision of the proposal; (iv) negotiation of government contracts; and (v) administrative litigation.
