investment Funds & Private equity: This group provides expert legal advice on the formation of funds and other investment structures (including investment syndicates, club deals, joint ventures and managed accounts), regulation and transactional and other ongoing advice. It acts for fund managers, administrators, banks and investors in all aspects of investment fund work.
Banking & Corporate: Legal opinions and advice are provided to banks, investment houses and multinationals globally. This group also advises on elements of international M&A transactions, joint venture arrangements, shareholders’ agreements/arrangements and acquisitions/disposals of Channel Island, BVI or Cayman Island companies.
Insurance: This group provides advice on all aspects of the Channel Islands and Cayman Islands insurance markets including insurance, reinsurance, captives, PCCs, ICCs and segregated cell companies. The group has some of the leading practitioners in the field and regularly contributes to publications on cutting edge changes to the law, as well as having considerable experience in advising leading companies in this sector.
International Private Client: The firm’s highly experienced team covers BVI, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey legal advice and provides specialist trust and related corporate law advice to individual and institutional clients on wealth preservation and management, employee and executive share incentive schemes, bespoke trust drafting, the restructuring of assets held in trust and advice to fiduciaries.
