Focuses on media, television, and consumer products companies in all aspects of advertising and promotions including: clearing promotions and advertising globally, advertising and trade regulation law, and federal and state investigations.
Focuses on business, franchise and consumer litigation, corporate and real estate transactions, vehicle safety law, regulatory, distribution and franchise, intellectual property, antitrust, environmental and emissions, consumer lending, customs and international trade, restructuring and bankruptcy.

Represents creditors’ committees, bondholders, note holders, secured creditors, lender syndicates, debtors, Chapter 11 trustees, and financing providers in bankruptcy proceedings.

Broad-based corporate experience includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, joint ventures and strategic alliances, corporate governance, and public and private offerings of equity and debt. Handles transactions for private equity funds, public companies, and midmarket private companies.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
Experience in all aspects of cybersecurity, privacy and data protection. The Group serves clients in regulated spaces such as health care and telecommunications and sophisticated industries including retail, gaming and entertainment, and media.
Assists companies, trade associations, universities, governmental organisations, and other nonprofits attain their objectives by advocating at the federal, state, and local levels. Counsels on elections and political activity law.
Provides coordinated representation in all aspects of healthcare law, including reimbursement/coverage issues, Stark regulations, anti-kickback matters, fraud and abuse counseling, regulatory issues, false claims defence, HIPAA/ health privacy advice, RACs, telemedicine, and e-health.
Insurance & Reinsurance:
Advises US and European insurers, reinsurers, and brokers on multi-state licensing projects, tax issues, regulatory compliance matters, and state investigations. Counsels clients on cross-border acquisitions including public company employment.
International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution:
Represents parties in international commercial arbitration, treaty-based, and concession-based investor-State arbitration, and State-State arbitration. Advises sovereign and private clients on commercial law and international law matters, including questions arising under contracts, concessions and treaties, including international investment agreements.
Intellectual Property (IP):
Offers a full range of services across copyright, patent, and trademark matters relating to the acquisition, enforcement, and commercial exploitation of IP rights and assets. Extensive experience prosecuting and defending against infringement claims in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
Represents and advises clients in a range of cross-border matters, such as customs/import compliance; global trade policy; international trade litigation, including litigation before US Court of International Trade and US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and representing clients before the US Trade Representative office; export controls and sanctions, including compliance with the Arms Export Control Act and ITAR; and international anti-corruption and the FCPA.
Labour & Employment:
Counsels on employment litigation, labour management relations, occupational safety and health, employee benefits, immigration, federal contractors, and public accommodations.
Represents tax-exempt organisations on matters relating to tax, government relations, finance, real estate, labour, intellectual property, antitrust, and litigation. Serves as general counsel to associations and nonprofit organisations.
Handles projects nationally and internationally for institutional and private investors in joint venture formation and structuring, portfolio acquisition and sale, land acquisition and development, construction, financing, leasing, management, brokerage and sale for such projects as office buildings, shopping centres, hotels, factories, warehouses, research and development parks, and residential developments.
Counsels clients in the sports industry on all types of transactions, such as acquisitions and sales of franchises, arena stadium development and financing, naming rights agreements, sponsorship agreements, media rights agreements, issues with labour and employment, venue arrangements, and representation agreements with marketing agencies.
Tax & Estate Planning:
Focuses on all areas of federal and state tax law, representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, state tax authorities and courts having jurisdiction over federal tax disputes. Provides comprehensive estate planning, tax planning, business succession planning, charitable planning, and wealth management services.
Handles services in all aspects of the telecommunications business, including transactions, licensing, regulatory compliance and advocacy, and litigation.
Handles all stages of a government investigation including parallel civil and criminal proceedings involving multiple agencies and across multiple jurisdictions.
