The founding members of 5 Wentworth first established Chambers together in 1932, and today, it is one of Sydney’s oldest and most respected chambers, with many former members called to the Bench. International Work:

The Hon Dr Annabelle Bennett AC SC works as a strategic adviser, speaker on matters concerning intellectual property, and as a mediator and arbitrator. These roles have led to an international profile through, for example, arbitrations in the Court of Arbitration for Sport, advice to globalised companies and as the Chair of the Advisory Group of Judges to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). Much of the Intellectual Property work on the floor involves matters with parallel overseas litigation and is jointly briefed by international law firms and Australian law firms particularly in pharmaceutical and techno/digital matters. During 2019 David Bennett AC KC and Andrew Tokley KC appeared on behalf of litigants in a constitutional matter involving religious discrimination which was heard in Fiji.
