Additionally, they offer specialist services in the area of Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) advocacy, indirect tax, and judicial review challenges related to HMRC.

187 Chambers has recently undergone a change in management within its clerks' room, with the appointment of two experienced professionals. Steven Wright has joined chambers as Senior Clerk, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role at 7BR. His extensive background in managing clerking teams and client relationships is expected to enhance the chambers' operational efficiency and service. Additionally, Tom Parker has been appointed as Deputy Senior Clerk, having previously worked at 15NBS Chambers. With his proven track record in clerking and management, Tom's appointment is set to strengthen the clerking team further and support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the chambers. Together, Steven and Tom’s combined experience promises to usher in a period of growth and refinement for 187 Chambers.

Steven and Tom join a highly dedicated clerking team, including Theresa Tyler, Stephanie Shaylor, and Sebastian Oswiecimka. Each play an integral role in maintaining our chambers' operations. Theresa, Stephanie, and Sebastian have consistently shown great skill in managing the diary and nurturing relationships with solicitors, helping ensure that our chambers runs smoothly and remains closely connected with our clients. Their efforts have directly contributed to the positive feedback we’ve received.
