Why submit to Chambers?

Chambers is the leading legal data and intelligence partner for lawyers, firms, and in-house teams. A presence in our guides is a marker of excellence and a strong positive signal to current and future clients, colleagues, prospective employees and the wider market.

How submissions work

A submission is your opportunity to share the great work that you have done in a specific practice area. This, along with other sources, informs our research and ultimate decision on whether a firm or individual should be ranked within our guides.

Submitting to Chambers is free.

We’re looking for a clear summary of the most significant facts about your practice, submitted using our pre-formatted template. We won’t print or quote directly from a submission, but we will refer to it as a source of information about a law firm or lawyer and their activities.

Referees

Providing 20-30 referees in support of your submission is essential. These will ideally be clients but can also include other people who have had dealings with your firm or practice over the past year.

We may interview some of your referees. Any interviews conducted will always be in confidence. Quotes that are used will be anonymised and sources will never be revealed. Confidentiality is guaranteed.

How to send us your submission

You can submit online via MyAccount or upload your submission using our Word and Excel templates. These methods are equally data-secure and your choice has no impact on our research methodology or ranking decisions.

Online submissions

Accessible via your My Account, this allows you to manage all your submissions and deadlines in one place and to access a dedicated help centre for support at each step.

Upload submissions

Use our Word and Excel templates to provide all the relevant information we need to compile our rankings. It also provides clear colour coding to indicate sensitive material that must be handled with extra care.
