Our immigration practice advises employers across the globe, including a number of Fortune 500 companies, on global talent management and cross-border employment issues. Our practice has three primary focuses: developing strategic immigration policies for our clients consistent with their global talent acquisition and retention goals, supporting clients’ immigration sponsorships for their employees, and advising clients on compliance with immigration-based regulations.
Because our immigration group is within a broader employment group and part of a full-service law firm, we are able to offer our clients comprehensive advice and solutions for the issues that arise within the immigration context. For instance, we call on our international trade partners to handle deemed export control issues and we call on our employee benefits and tax partners to assist with the development of international assignment packages for clients.
