Stearns Weaver Miller has many experienced trial lawyers, including Florida’s only Chamber’s USA general commercial litigation Star Individual. We represent clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, before administrative agencies, and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Clients include, among others, Fortune 500 corporations, financial institutions, professional firms, life science, insurance, media and entertainment companies, sports franchises, municipalities and individuals. We have tried many commercial cases, including securities fraud, business tort, antitrust, competition, consumer protection, intellectual property, product and lender liability, breach of contract, property rights, construction defect and appeals from those cases, including before the U.S. Supreme Court. We represent plaintiffs and defendants in high-profile cases across the nation. For decades, we have invested in trial presentation software and used it in courtrooms across the country. Our software allows us to make trial and hearing presentations that are better quality than outside vendor technology at a fraction of the cost. Because we own it, continue to develop it, and have an in-house multimedia staff to aid in court presentations, every attorney has the ability to use it for any case. Our view is that disputes settle on appropriate terms when adversaries know that, absent a reasonable resolution outside of court, the firm is ready, willing, and able to go to trial.
