Pestalozzi has an extensive practice in investment funds. In particular, Pestalozzi advises on:

• Swiss and foreign sponsors in the structuring and setting-up of Swiss and foreign investment funds and asset managers as well as on licensing applications and contact with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA);
• Swiss and foreign asset managers and investment funds on ongoing regulatory, legal and tax requirements;
• Swiss and foreign investment funds and asset managers in (cross-border) marketing investment funds in/into or out of Switzerland;
• Swiss and foreign asset managers in transactional issues, particularly investment and divestment of assets;
• Listing of Swiss and foreign ETFs and other ETPs on exchanges in Switzerland;
• Fund financing;
• Mergers and sales and purchases of asset managers;
• Assistance to several asset managers and their fund products to change their strategies to ESG.

8 Pestalozzi lawyers are fully recognized by SIX Exchange Regulation to submit listing applications for any type of securities including investment funds and exchange-traded products (ETPs), in particular ETFs, on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
