Our team of attorneys has presented and tried many of the insurance and reinsurance industry’s fundamental dispute issues, including, allocation, aggregation, notice, follow the fortunes, security, payment of interest, set-offs, insolvency, captives, “cut-through” provisions, claims handling practices, claims control, special acceptances, rescission, sunset clauses, and other matters of contractual interpretation. We represent clients in complex matters that are critical to the insurance industry.  We are the forefront of emerging issues and advise on matters that other firms are not experienced in handling. Marc Abrams and Suman Chakraborty are both actively involved and serve in leadership positions in key insurance industry organizations including AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society ("ARIAS US") - the premier US organization dedicated to enhancing insurance and reinsurance arbitrations for US and international clients.  Specifically, Marc Abrams is on the Board of Directors for this organization, where he is responsible for developing and enhancing arbitration products and defining the philosophical direction of the organization and Suman is also serving on a key leadership committee.
