Level of expertise uncommon outside of major cities and so our clients receive a high level service, local to them but at rates more affordable than our competitors. We have a good spread of experience and specialisms across the department and the geographic locations.  This helps us to service our clients in a more cost effective and comprehensive manner.

Rooted in our local communities and understand the needs of the enterprises here, but we also act for large multi-national companies and have the ability to act on matters with international reach.

Recognise that our clients have finite resources in terms of time and money, and that the decision whether to use those resources in litigation is an investment decision. The focus of the department is, therefore, on thorough exploration of the issues at the earliest stage, to promote early, cost-effective settlement which means that clients obtain better value for money, and a better return on that investment.

Dedicated Debt Recovery Unit acting for household names and agricultural clients. The members of the Debt Recovery Unit work closely with the Dispute Resolution Department and thus appreciate how their work fits into the wider picture, meaning that we are able to provide clients with a greater sense of context than traditional Debt Recovery Units.
