Widely recognised as a top-tier commercial dispute resolution firm, our unique team of experienced Icelandic and English lawyers includes the “outstanding” Andri Árnason and the “excellent” Stefán Svensson. Our aim is always to resolve disputes as quickly and efficiently as possible, cutting through complexity and focusing on solutions. We have significant expertise in both litigation and arbitration which we use to good effect in wide-ranging matters including contentious banking, insolvency, finance and competition matters. Our lawyers are also experienced in acting as expert witnesses on matters of Icelandic law in foreign proceedings.

Recent work highlights

  • Advised and represented Kaupthing in claims against Deutsche Bank AG in relation to €508 million credit linked notes, leading to a successful settlement of the case;
