Recent work highlights

• Advised and represented Kaupthing in claims against Deutsche Bank AG in relation to €508 million credit linked notes, leading to a successful settlement of the case;
• Advised Norvík in its successful damages claim against Hagar, the first case in Iceland involving a damages claim by a competitor for an abuse of a dominant position by predatory pricing; and
• Represented the Icelandic retail banks in most of the leading cases relating to currency-linked loans.
