Established in 1998, the JT&N International Trade and WTO practice is one of the leading international trade law teams in China. The founding members of the Practice were among the first PRC lawyers to provide manufacturers and exporters with legal advice on PRC anti-dumping regulations. Today, we continue to represent large numbers of Chinese manufacturers and exporters in response to more than sixty trade investigations in foreign jurisdictions, in joint representations with foreign legal counsel. Additionally we are perennial advisors to the PRC Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), whom we have represented in a number of significant WTO disputes.
Our Practice incorporates focused knowledge, including both specialist understanding of an array of industries, such as ceramics, steel and rubber, among others, as well as deep insights into the constantly evolving legal framework for international trade transactions, including extensive experience with the trade remedy laws of other jurisdictions. In terms of practical experience, our front-running position in the international trade area is grounded in the substantial exposure that JT&N lawyers have accumulated through direct participation in a wide variety of cases. We are market leaders in such areas as trade remedy cases, WTO disputes and trade negotiations, as well as in anti-dumping cases involving markets such as the US, the EU and Latin America, and we are thoroughly familiar with relevant financial and accounting systems.
