Horten's tax team provides full tax and VAT support to stand-alone clients as well as in-house to the firm. The tax team has a strong international focus and benefits from the firm's large international network.
 
The tax team has achieved a position as a key player in the Danish tax advisory market, growing consistently in both market share and number of significant clients. Consequently, the size of the team has also grown significantly to meet the market demand.
 
The team is well known for its advice within M&A tax, corporate tax structuring and reorganization; cross-border taxation; real estate tax planning and transactions; modelling and implementation of employee share schemes and similar incentive programmes; tax and VAT relating to municipal and state-owned enterprises, as well as for its ability to litigate within tax, VAT and transfer pricing. In addition, the team has further increased its strong focus on transfer pricing planning and compliance.
 
Our team is a leader for real estate taxation, where the combination of in-depth knowledge on both tax, VAT, and registration duties has been used to benefit both Danish and international based clients investing in, developing and disposing of Danish property assets. Moreover the lawyers have great experience within generational change and estate planning for both companies and high worth individuals.
