The department handles a broad scope of property matters, including acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, overage deeds, sub-sales, option agreements as well as corporate support, advising clients spanning a broad spectrum of sectors and locations across the country, with notable expertise in the industrial manufacturing and health care sectors, with recent dealings in the dentistry industry.

The department has significant experience in advising on multi-million pound purchases and sales of development land with JCT Design & Build Contracts and Overage Deeds forming part of the negotiations.

The department also specialises in advising banks which include RBS, Lloyds, HSBC and Santander on property finance matters.

The department‘s experience includes acting for commercial landlords and commercial tenants in negotiating leases and on all aspects of the landlord and tenant relationship. The department has also negotiated a number of intercompany leases following group restructuring or asset hive ups.

The department is best known for being commercially driven and pro-active in order to achieve the best commercial outcome for the client and managing clients’ expectations throughout the entire transaction.
