The team advises on domestic and foreign taxation. It manages personal and trust tax affairs for clients all over the world advising on the full spectrum of tax issues. Advice is often of a complex nature with the team regularly advising high net worth individuals and in cases with a cross-border element.

The team regularly advises on estate planning (often advising high net worth clients). The advice provided extends beyond just technical and legislative aspects of estate planning, but considers the family and individual dynamics, working hard to deliver what is best for the clients’ interests. 

The team is very experienced in administering estates and often deals with complex executries and high value estates.

The team’s trust work involves establishing, administering and closing all types of trusts, dealing with all related taxation matters. Such work often involves high value trusts as well as charitable trust work.

One of only three firms in Scotland which acts for the Office of the Public Guardian, the team regularly advises on Powers of Attorney through to Guardianship.
