About

Provided by Greene Espel PLLP

Greene Espel differentiates itself in high-stakes commercial litigation, product liability, antitrust, employment, and intellectual property matters nationwide, through our unique understanding of how to win at trial and how to achieve business objectives through strategic early resolution.

Trial Readiness. Our clients call on us when key matters are headed to trial. In Spring 2025, Cargill hired us to lead the trial in a $100+ million fraudulent transfer case in the Southern District of New York, and we achieved a favorable settlement after our directed verdict motion prompted the judge to indicate likely success for Cargill before close of evidence. We also recently achieved a complete defense verdict in an employment discrimination case in state court and a liability determination and damages on our client’s behalf in a breach-of-contract jury trial in Minnesota U.S. District Court.

Case Resolution Through Strategic Prowess. We’ve won key summary judgment motions that resolved large litigations for our clients. We secured a contract-interpretation victory for a global corporation; we won a summary judgment victory under the Minnesota Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act; and we won a liability determination in an insurance coverage dispute. We’ve also successfully resolved cases outside of motion practice, most recently achieving a favorable settlement in an eight-figure lawsuit after extensive discovery and international depositions.
