GPW Asia specialises in providing litigation and investigative support in the Asia-Pacific region to corporates, sovereigns, financial institutions, litigation funders, legal and accountancy firms and individuals, particularly in the context of complex, cross-border transactions as well as civil litigation and arbitration. GPW opened its office in Singapore in 2016 building upon extensive and specific experience of conducting investigations in the Asian region since its founding in 2004. The Asia practice has carried out a number of major investigations across the APAC region for local and global clients. 

GPW continues to maintain and grow a network of contacts on the ground across the APAC region, and the firm is well-versed in obtaining information on companies and individuals, including making use of the available public record databases and navigating diverse regulatory, legal and political landscapes.

In Asia, and globally, GPW has been publicly identified as having worked on several major international dispute cases. This includes working on some of the world’s largest FCPA cases, investigative support on large-scale Asia-Pacific insolvency matters and also major multi-jurisdiction asset mapping exercises ranging from sovereigns to political leaders as well as numerous private companies and individuals.
