We opened an office in Algiers in 2003, becoming the first international law firm in Algeria. Made up of Algerian and international legal practitioners, our team combines extensive knowledge of Algerian law and business with international expertise.
We advise leading Algerian and international clients, including international institutions, public companies, banks, insurance companies, investment funds and industrial groups. We advise them on the legal and tax implications of their investments and transactions in Algeria.
We are particularly active in the energy sector, including hydrocarbons and renewable energy.
In addition to advisory services, we also have expertise in dispute resolution. We assist major international and Algerian groups with ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings (ICC, ICSID) regarding contractual disputes (joint ventures, infrastructure, hydrocarbons, etc.). We also assist with conciliation and mediation.
Working with our Africa Group and our other international offices, we support our Algerian and international clients’ development in Africa.
