Eversheds Sutherland has a market-leading practice in both international commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration and public international law. Further, we are regularly instructed to represent investors and States before investment treaty arbitration tribunals, in particular under the ICSID Convention.

Eversheds Sutherland conducts multiple international arbitration proceedings annually worldwide, with widely varying applicable laws. Our team includes more than 100 arbitration experts through our offices in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, all experienced in the conduct of arbitrations subject to various arbitration rules and in ad hoc procedures. Members of our team around the world also regularly act as arbitrators.

Our international Arbitration Team in Paris has extensive experience as counsel of States, state entities and private parties in international arbitrations initiated in accordance with different arbitration rules. We are therefore familiar with the substantive and practical aspects of managing a wide range of procedures under the different arbitration rules. We seek to clearly understand the needs of our clients and adapt our strategic case management to provide the best possible advice.
