Regulatory: Environment

Cándido Garcia Molyneux advises clients on a broad range of environmental matters, including EU chemical law and climate change regulatory issues. His activity includes matters concerning the Directive on Single-Use Plastic Products, CSRD, REACH and PFAS.

Atli Stannard is a special counsel in Covington & Burling's EU public policy practice in Brussels. He has notable experience in guiding clients through EU competition policy matters and often advises clients from the pharmaceutical and energy sectors on green claims and deforestation in the environmental and ESG field. He is additionally experienced in advising on market access and trade matters.

Brian Kelly is co-chair of Covington & Burling's global food industry group. He advises on the regulatory aspects of food and drugs matters, often at the EU level. This includes advising on food ingredients and novel food issues, as well as licensing, advertising and product safety or recall issues.

Maree Gallagher is an of counsel in Covington & Burling's Dublin office and specialises in EU food and life sciences law and policy. She advises clients from the food and beverages industry on product licensing, composition, labelling and marketing matters. She is often present on novel food matters.
