Cándido Garcia Molyneux

Dr. Cándido García Molyneux’s practice focuses on EU and Pan-European environmental, sustainability and climate related issues. He advises clients on both environmental and product safety and emerging green economy matters. He has deep knowledge of the wide range of regulations on chemicals (RoHS/REACH/CLP/Biocides), nanomaterials, plastics, water, energy efficiency and eco-design, waste take back and safety affecting the marketing of products across Europe. He also provides clients with regulatory and strategic advice on EU climate change and renewable energies legislation and policies. Cándido has been involved in the legislative process leading to the adoption of major pieces of EU environmental legislation, such as REACH, ETS, and RED. He represents clients before the European Chemicals Agency, the European Commission and EU Member States and has been involved in numerous cases before the EU Courts. He advises companies and associations in a wide variety of sectors, including energy, specialty chemicals, electronics, e-vehicles, paper, food, cosmetics, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
