Our Corporate team deals with corporate finance, private equity, M&A transactions and corporate governance. At the heart of the corporate practice is our expertise in PE: we act for investors including funds, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, investee companies, and management teams. Post-deal, we support PE managed management teams in implementing their growth plans. Our sweet spot deal size (which has grown over the past couple of years) is between £10m and £65m in value, but we easily and regularly cope with larger, and smaller, deals.

We were ranked most active M&A advisers in Wales  - in January 2022, Experian Market IQ ranked us first (again) in Wales for the number of deals completed

Key types of work

We have a wide-ranging corporate practice. Our work has included several multimillion-pound growth funding rounds, large MBOs, AIM placings, numerous acquisitions and disposals for private equity funds, and corporate restructurings.

Our international work far surpasses our local competitors. The Swiss government bases its consulate in Wales in our office, as a result of Marlies Hoecherl’s work, whose practice is now almost exclusively international. Marlies is also a board member of the Consulegis network, of which the firm is a member.
