Key types of work

Judicial review: It is also important to emphasise that we are judicial review specialists – many of our competitors in the local market have public sector clients, but very few represent them in judicial review proceedings.

Procurement and subsidy control: We support our clients through the procurement process, from procurement strategy to contract award. Unlike some of our competitors, we advise regularly on state aid issues.

FOI and data protection: We regularly help our clients on freedom of information and data protection issues. We take a hands-on approach to assisting with the changes required under the GDPR/ Data Protection Act 2018, advising not just on the letter of the law, but also giving practical guidance.

Welsh law: We second staff to Welsh Government and important Commissioner bodies in Wales – the Welsh Language Commissioner and Future Generations Commissioner.
