Geldards has a reputation and a track record of delivering complex, long-term, sensitive and challenging projects frequently involving collaboration between public bodies and between public and private organisations and which involve public and administrative law considerations.
In England Geldards’ is a panel member of two of the largest local government legal services panels – EMLawshare (to which the firm was reappointed in 2018) and the North-West Local Authorities Legal Services Consortium.
In Wales, Geldards remains the pre-eminent firm in administrative and public law and is seen as the “go-to” firm by public sector bodies for high value and politically sensitive matters and known for its understanding of the Welsh devolved institutions. The firm is a long-standing adviser to the Welsh Public Sector acting for the Welsh Government and its subsidiaries and sponsored bodies.
