Haavind has one of Norway’s strongest teams within dispute resolution. 

In recent years, we have assisted in many of Norway’s largest and most complex disputes. A significant part of our business is dispute resolution, both for national courts and arbitration (domestic and international). Every year we resolve a number of disputes before the Norwegian Supreme Court and many of our lawyers are admitted to appear for the Supreme Court.

Haavind has more than 30 lawyers who mainly deal with dispute resolution, often with industry sector focus. We believe in combining industry sector understanding with proven track record for dispute resolution. The results our clients have achieved and the feedback we receive shows that our emphasis on dispute resolution is a success.

Our dispute team handles a wide range of disputes every year, including shareholder and post M&A-disputes, disputes within tech, construction, renewable energy, oil and offshore, real estate and aquaculture as well as employment, patent and IPR disputes.
