Andrés joined EY Colombia on August 2011, as a partner of Transfer Pricing Group. Before joining the firm, Andrés was a partner with another big 4, with presence in Colombia.

Andrés has 30 years of law practice experience, including 20 years providing transfer pricing services, primarily to Colombian companies that belong to multinational corporate groups.

His experience covers a wide range in transfer pricing policies structuring for multinational Colombian companies.

He is responsible both for client service and for the transfer pricing practice. His transfer pricing experience includes numerous local and regional documentation and planning projects. He has long term experience supporting companies in transfer pricing controversies with tax authorities.

Andres has been designated several times by Euromoney as one of the world leading transfer pricing advisers.

Andres has a law degree from Externado of Colombia University and has performed postgraduate studies in public law and in economic law at the aforementioned institution. Andres is a professor of transfer pricing matters in tax specialization and master program in the Externado of Colombia University and participates frequently as speaker in conferences in Colombia and abroad regarding transfer pricing.

He is the coauthor of Colombian Customs Regime (Legis 2000), Convenios para Evitar la Doble Tributación en Colombia – Teoría y Práctica (Legis 2019), Derecho Contencioso Administrativo Análisis de la Perspectiva Tributaria (Legis 2021) and collaborates in the preparation of articles for international publications in tax issues.
