UK Bar 2026 Mediators Submitting Change
Discover the changes to the Mediators submissions for the Chambers UK Bar 2026 guide.
Mediators submissions
Mediators submissions for the Bar Guide will now only be accepted under the Solicitors Guide Mediators (UK-wide) table. This decision was taken to streamline internal research processes, given the nature of the Solicitors’ table ranking mediators who both practice as solicitors and barristers. Please be assured that this change will not impact any ranking decisions and barristers will continue to be ranked in the Bar Guide as well.
As a result, we ask for all barristers to choose to submit either under the mediation organisation or set they affiliate with, although please do include a note about any membership to the other. We will continue to note both organisations linked to an individual in their written editorial on the website, however, they will still only be allowed to present five work highlights and provide five referees.
Likewise, given the later deadline of 2nd April 2025, sets that have already submitted will be able to review and make changes to their submissions up until this new date. Any submissions left under the Bar Guide will be moved across to the Solicitors Guide accordingly.
For sets that have subscribed to the Referee Management Tool on the Bar Guide, you will be granted access to the Solicitors’ RMT coverage of this table to continue to monitor your referee's engagements.
